At Life Collective Counselling, we're not just a practice - we're a movement. We champion sexual health and the bonds that keep couples together. With a spotlight on couples and sex therapy, we offer mental health counselling with a goal of restoring health relationships. We offer transformative psycho-education, workshops, and counseling to those navigating the intricacies of mental health, sexual health and relationships.

YOUR MISSION SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT

  • Lead the way in a client-centred, sex-positive, trauma-informed environment.

  • Become an architect of change in relationships, guiding individuals and couples to experience sexual wholeness and fulfilling relationships.

  • Mental health counselling and diagnosis in accordance to your designation

  • Elevate clients' mental health and relationships and assist in expanding their sexual horizons.

WE VALUE:

  • Compassionate professionals who integrate research-backed techniques to address psychological, physiological, and cultural aspects of relationships and sexuality.

  • A sex-positive, client-focused, and trauma-informed approach to therapy.

 

MUST HAVES:

  • Some experience and registration as a provisional psychologist, psychologist, or MSW (Clinical specialization).

  • Updated registration with College of Alberta Psychologists or College of Social Workers.

  • Independence in work, with a flair for collaboration.

 

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

  • Expertise or a budding interest in Couples and Sex Therapy.

  • Training in Gottman Method (Level 1 or 2), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, IFS, EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, or other trauma-focused models.

  • Interested or experience with couples, trauma, sex addictions, sexual abuse, and disorders.

(Note: We are currently focusing on in-person therapists.)

Educational Background
