Marriage Preparation Workshop

You are about to embark on one of the most significant milestones in your life…marriage. You and your partner are in love and busy planning for your big day. You are both probably feeling excited, proud, and even a bit nervous. But what happens after the wedding day is even more critical than saying “I do.”

Through the Marriage Preparation Workshop, we can help you prepare for this deep and meaningful commitment to give you a better chance of long-term success.

A great marriage doesn’t just happen. It is something two people consciously co-create over time. Premarital counselling prepares couples to navigate the ups and downs of marriage and deepen the foundation of love and connection that already exists.

ABOUT THE VIRTUAL MARRIAGE PREPARATION WORKSHOP

Our premarital counselling program consists of a Gottman Relationship Checkup assessment to generate core areas of preparation and six one-hour counselling sessions (or a weekend intensive) that create a foundation for future success through education, exercises and conversation. The workshop is facilitated in small groups to incorporate questions and participation.

To further explore your relationship with a couples therapist at Life Collective Counselling, you can book individual sessions to discuss your Gottman Relationship Checkup to identify and explore your relationship concerns and interests.

This process encourages heart-to-heart conversations in a safe space that is the key to understanding your partner.

You want your marriage to last forever, in sickness and health, for better or worse, till death do you part. So why not invest in your future and get premarital counselling?

This course will be facilitated by Kingsley Moyo, MA.
