Sujata Poudel, MSW, RSW

Master of Social Work (Clinical Specialization)

Hello! I’m Sujata, and I am glad you are here. I work with individuals, couples and families.

I have nine years of experience in mental health support, supporting individuals and families. This experience has helped me realize how heavy it is to carry pain in silence. You may be living a life after trauma, navigating deep wounds of sexual assault, or battling the constant anguish of anxiety and depression.

I offer a warm, inclusive space for individuals and couples to explore their experiences with honesty and compassion. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, anti-oppressive, and sex-positive. I work with people facing a range of concerns, including self-esteem, anxiety, depression, grief, emotional regulation, religious or sexual trauma, and intimacy struggles.

I work with a wide range of concerns. From years of learning and work experiences from my clients, I understand that sometimes it’s the relationships that hurt the most, patterns of conflict that never seem to change, the pain of feeling unseen by your partner, the loneliness you feel even when you’re not alone.

You might be juggling cultural expectations, family obligations, or experiencing unspoken struggles from your immigrant experience, all while trying to hold it together.

In my approach, healing isn’t about rushing to fix things. It’s about feeling safe enough to explore, to make sense of your experiences, and to rebuild in a way that feels authentic and comfortable to you.

You are the expert of your own life, and my role is to hold hands with you as you walk forward.
